My Favorite Sites #1: Her Campus

This is the first post in my new little series called "My Favorite Sites!" Let me know if you like it and if you want to see more. 

The first site I decided to feature is Her Campus. They are an online magazine that has everything from beauty to job & internship listings, this site literally has it all. It's mainly geared towards college-level girls, but I think it's the perfect site for any teenage girl. I've learned so much from the site and continue to check it daily. 

Her Campus is holding a campaign called One Million Collegiettes, which has been taking place during the entire month of February. They are trying to get one million hits on the site during the month. If they succeed, they are going to donate one million site impressions to She's the First, which is huge!! Please help Her Campus and She's the First by checking out the Her Campus site all throughout this month. PS: Her Campus is also holding daily giveaways with awesome prizes, so you should enter those everyday as well!

I also am a Publicity Ambassador at Her Campus, which is amazing and so much fun! Our ongoing assignment at the moment is to publicize a certain article on the Her Campus site. I was given "The Fastest Way to Pretty: 10 Ways to Speed Up Your Getting-Ready Routine." It'd be amazing if you could click on that link & help my article get the most views! It's an very helpful article that every girl can learn something from. I even made a Youtube video inspired by the article, which you can watch below.

Sequins & Cheetah

I loved this outfit, so of course I had to share it with all of you. I added a cheetah print heart necklace after taking the pictures that made the outfit so much cuter. Grammy's 2012: Hits & Misses

Hits:

1. Rebecca Black: She looked darling & age appropriate. The dress is flattering and I love the red shoes.

2. Paris Hilton: I'm not entirely sure why she was at the Grammy's, but her dress was stunning! I love the whole Greek goddess look.

3. Adele: I absolutely love Adele & I'm so happy she's made a full recovery! She looked gorgeous at the Grammy's, a definite hit.

4. Jessie J: Her dress is made of mirrored sequins, what more could you ask for?

5. Carrie Underwood: She has been one of my favorite red carpet stars for awhile now and she didn't disappoint on the red carpet last night. Love the cutout and sequins!

6. Taylor Swift: My favorite look of the night! Taylor always dresses to the nines for award shows. This dress is so trendy and fits her like a glove.

7. Katy Perry: Her recent divorce from Russell Brand didn't stop her from looking fab on the red carpet. The matching hair and dress are eye catching & I really love it.

Misses:

1. Fergie: The concept of this dress is amazing, but leave it to Fergie to ruin it. The dress would've looked much nicer (and probably even made my "hits" list) if she had worn a slip underneath. The black bra and granny panties get two thumbs down.

2. Nicki Minaj: Is she trying to compete with Gaga? Well it didn't work. This look is just too weird & I don't really get it. Better luck next year Nicki.

3. Snooki: Snooki, why the hell are you at the Grammy's?! Besides that, why did you come looking like that? Looks like you belong on the nearest street corner in that get-up, not a red carpet. Sorry for being so harsh, but that's just my opinion. 

Grammy's 2012

As many of you probably already know, the 2012 Grammy's are on tonight & I couldn't be more excited! The Grammy's has always been one of my favorite award shows and it looks like this year's show won't disappoint. I will probably blog about my favorite makeup/dress/hair looks of the night and I plan on filming a tutorial inspired by someone at the Grammy's as well! Who are you most excited to see rock the star-studded red carpet tonight?
